Induction heating generators are devices that use electromagnetic induction to produce heat. They are commonly used in industrial applications, such as metalworking, where the precise and controlled application of heat is necessary.

The generator consists of a high-frequency alternating current (AC) power source and a coil. When the AC power is supplied to the coil, it creates a magnetic field around the coil. When a metal object is placed within the coil, the magnetic field induces eddy currents in the metal, which causes the metal to heat up.

The frequency of the AC power is typically in the range of 1 kHz to 1 MHz. The higher the frequency, the shallower the depth of penetration of the eddy currents into the metal. This means that higher frequency generators are better suited for heating thin materials, while lower frequency generators are better for thicker materials.
